What does a day at Camp look like?
Although activities, times, and structure varies from camp to camp, below is a template that we aim to base our programming on weekly.
Electives: Campers get to sign up for 2 electives for the week. Elective times are approximately 50 minutes long, and typically run 4 days a week.
Elective options may include Arts and Crafts, Outdoor adventure (Canoeing, Archery, Fire building, knot tying, etc.), Sports (Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Ball hockey, etc.), Crazy Concoctions (Pop bottle rockets, science experiments, etc.).
*Elective offerings are subject to change
Rotations: Campers are split into 2-3 groups for the afternoon and rotate between activities. Throughout the week rotations typically include Beach time, Canoeing, Slip and Slide, tubing, Games (gaga ball, 9 square, human hungry hippo, etc.).
*Rotations are subject to change
Wide Games: Wide games are activities/challenges that involve the entire camp. These games are often run across the Harbour Ridge Campus (Capture the flag, Balloon battle, Amazing race, etc.)
